Meet Dr. Ryu

Dr. Ho-Yun (Ethan) Ryu earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) as well as his Certificate in Endodontics from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York. After experiencing different specialty rotations, Dr. Ryu’s interest in endodontics stemmed from his desire to save natural teeth for the patients. Dr. Ryu’s goal is to prioritize patient’s needs and experience to be met with satisfaction while providing the best quality of treatment in his ability for his patients.

Dr. Ryu, born in Seoul, South Korea, spent most of his childhood in the foothills of the Himalaya in India immersed in nature and wildlife. Growing compassion for others at a young age he decided to pursue dentistry after college. Dr. Ryu also served in the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF)  before he got discharged as a sergeant upon completing military service. 

Dr. Ryu is a board-eligible endodontist and an active member of both the American Association of Endodontists and American Dental Association. When not in the office he spends time watching sports, especially soccer, trying out different cuisines and traveling.
